Essential mint oil for ingestion for stomach and intestinal disorders, for inhalation for colds with bronchial catarrh and for application for headaches.

Japomine oil is an over-the-counter drug whose active ingredient is pure mint oil. It is manufactured under the strictest quality controls. It contains neither preservatives nor colorings.

field of use

Japomin Oil is a traditional herbal medicine application

  • for colds of the respiratory tract such as coughing, also with viscous mucus (to produce a vapor for inhalation),
  • for digestive problems such as bloating and flatulence (for oral use),
  • for the symptomatic relief of muscle or nerve pain such as mild tension-type headaches (for application to the skin),

The use of this traditional herbal medicine in the areas of application mentioned is based exclusively on many years of use.

If you do not feel better or feel worse after 1 week (inhalation or oral use) or 2 weeks (topical use), contact your doctor.

Contraindications

Japomin Oil must not be used:

  • if you are allergic to mint oil or menthol.
  • in blockage of the bile ducts, inflammation of the gallbladder and severe liver damage (when used internally).
  • on injured skin and eyes (for external use).
  • in infants and children under 2 years of age (risk of laryngeal spasm).
  • Because of the menthol content, Japomin oil should not be used in patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases that are associated with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways. Inhaling japomine oil can cause shortness of breath or trigger an asthma attack.
