Proven for the removal of excessive tissue growths (caro luxurians, colloquially called "wild meat") that can occur in healing skin wounds, eg surgical cavities with granulation polyps, as well as for the treatment of warts that have been clearly identified as such. Remnants of the umbilical cord in newborns can also be easily removed with our etching rods.

The head of an etching rod consists of: 50% silver nitrate, 50% potassium nitrate

Moisten the head of the stick with water, dab the area to be treated several times and leave to take effect. The area quickly turns black and is then shed by the surrounding tissue over a period of a few days.
