Action

Ektin are eye drops that contain Ectoin and hyaluronic acid.

Ektin eye drops are intended for the treatment and prevention of symptoms of seasonal and chronic allergic conjunctivitis (caused, for example, by pollen, animal hair, dust mites or mold). The drops soothe eye irritation and restore their hydration.

Method of use of the medical device

1. Remove the protective cap from the tip of the bottle.
2. Place your thumb on the ergonomic thumb rest and the other two fingers on the bottom of the bottle.
3. Turn the bottle upside down. Before using the pump for the first time, fill it by pressing the thumb support 7 times until the first drop appears.
4. Tilt your head back slightly. Hold the bottle in a suitable position above the eye. With the finger of your free hand, gently pull out the lower lid. Gently press the thumb support. After instillation, to spread the drops on the surface of the eye as best as possible, close the lid and slowly move the eyeball. If needed, you can use your other hand for extra support and more accuracy.
5. To avoid possible contamination of the solution, avoid contact of the tip of the vial with eyes or fingers.
6. Apply the protective cap to the tip of the bottle immediately after use.

Nozzle type: Cone (cloud) Before first use or after not using the product for a long time: point the bottle downwards and press the pump until the first drop appears.

Use of the preparation

Apply 1-2 drops of Ektin in the eye when needed.

Due to the lack of preservatives in the composition, Ektin eye drops can be used daily and as often as desired. There are no restrictions on the length of time of use.

Contraindications and precautions

Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle to avoid possible eye injury or contamination of the solution.

Shake off any remaining drops after use.
