The active ingredient of Buscopan is based on® a raw material from nature: scopolamine extracts from the Duboisia plant are chemically optimized to form the well-tolerated and antispasmodic active ingredient butylscopolamine. Butylscopolamine relaxes the cramped stomach and intestinal muscles and prevents their overactivity. It relieves tension by docking at certain control points of the muscle cells, preventing overactivity and thus restoring natural movements. Thus, Buscopan has a® targeted effect and relaxes the abdomen.

Application:

Adults and children over 6 years: 1 - 2 coated tablets up to a maximum of 6 coated tablets per day.

Ingredients:

Active ingredient: 10 mg Hyoscine-N butyl bromide.
Other ingredients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, corn starch, soluble starch, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, tartaric acid, stearic acid, povidone, sucrose, talc, gum arabic, macrogol 6000, carnauba wax, white wax, dye: titanium dioxide (E171).
