Wheat bran contributes to increasing the volume of stool and accelerating its passage through the intestines. The fibers and swelling substances increase the volume of the intestinal contents. This stimulates peristalsis (bowel movement). Wheat bran regulates bowel movements and promotes digestion.
Thanks to its neutral taste, GRANOLAX wheat bran can be added to many foods and drinks, e.g. B. yoghurts, mueslis, purees, vegetable dishes and soups. As an additive for baking, GRANOLAX wheat bran is ideal. GRANOLAX wheat bran can also be used long-term.
 Because of its swelling capacity, wheat bran must always be taken with plenty of liquid. About 1 glass of liquid should be drunk for every two tablespoons of bran.

Application:
For a stool-regulating effect, at least 10 g of wheat bran (approx. 2 tablespoons) should be consumed daily. However, the optimal daily intake varies from person to person. On average, 2 - 4 tablespoons (10 - 20 g) of GRANOLAX wheat bran are sufficient to achieve a stool-regulating effect. A higher amount may be required in individual cases.
