1. WHAT LECICARBON IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Lecicarbon is a laxative (CO2 laxative). The suppositories produce carbonic acid after being introduced into the rectum. This promotes blood circulation on the mucous membrane, stimulates bowel movement and increases the willingness to defecate. Carbon dioxide is produced from the carbonic acid, a naturally occurring gas in the intestine, which is formed under natural conditions by the breakdown of carbohydrates
and cellulose.
Indications:
For the treatment of blockages of the colon and rectum in adults and adolescents (12-18 years), e.g. in the case of a low-waste diet or lack of exercise, as well as in diseases that require easier bowel movements.
