1. WHAT ARE PROTAGENT - Disposable eye drops AND WHAT ARE THEY
USED FOR?
Protagent - Disposable eye drops are an artificial tear fluid containing
povidone. It forms a wetting and protective layer on the surface of the
eye. It prevents irritation of the eye due to lack of or insufficient production of
tear fluid ("dry eyes") as well as damage to the corneal epithelium by eyelid veins.
This product is used to treat irritation of the eye caused by lack of or insufficient tear production ("dry eyes"), including while wearing hard or soft contact lenses.

What PROTAGENT - disposable eye drops contain
- The active ingredient is povidone (K25). 1 ml solution (= approx. 30 drops) contains 20 mg povidone (K25).
- The other ingredients are: boric acid, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide for
pH adjustment and purified water.
