Senna contains the main active substances - anthragosides, which have a pronounced laxative effect. The mechanism of action consists in irritation of the mucous receptors of the gastrointestinal tract, a decrease in secretion and an increase in peristalsis in the large intestine. In "Senna-D", these properties are enhanced due to the inclusion of roots and rhizomes of elecampane and MCC in the composition of the powder. Rhizomes with roots of elecampane help to eliminate the cause of constipation - biliary dyskinesia. The compounds inulin, inulenin and gelenin contained in elecampane naturally normalize the balance of intestinal microflora, the activity of the digestive tract, activate the immune system and improve the absorption of vitamins and minerals.

Composition: senna leaves (Cassia senna L.) - 200 mg (corresponds to 5 mg of senoside B), roots and rhizomes of alfalfa (Inula helenium L.) -35 mg.
