The medical device Activon Tube contains 100% Manuka honey from New Zealand without any additives. Manuka honey is filtered and sterilized, making it suitable for application to wounds. Manuka honey is suitable for bedsores, scabs, odor removal and maintains a moist wound environment for healing.
Activon Tube is used on partially or completely open wounds:
- infected wounds
- sores with scabs
- pressure ulcers
- ulcers
- surgical wounds
- sampling area
- smelly wounds
The package contains 20 g.
Dosage and method of use
Remove the top packaging and apply directly to the wound bed or in combination with a cover impregnated with Activon honey to increase the concentration of honey in the wound. Use a suitable secondary cover in accordance with the instructions for use supplied with the cover. Close the tube with the top cover and set aside. After opening, use within 4 weeks. The package is intended for use by one patient.
