Akneroxide 10 is a gel for topical application to the skin for external acne treatment.
The use has 3 basic therapeutic effects:
1. Peeling by removing horn from the follicular mouths ensures the outflow of sebum from the sebaceous glands.
2. Antibacterial reduces the growth of bacteria that are responsible for the frequent development of acne and the development of local inflammation.
3. Removes sebum from the skin surface, which is always in excess in acne patients. The drug is very well tolerated by the vast majority of patients.
Acneroxide 10 is used for topical treatment of acne vulgaris, especially on the chest and back. For treatment more severe forms of acne that do not respond adequately to treatment with 5% concentrations of benzoyl peroxide.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
The affected areas are rubbed with gel in a thin layer 1-2 times a day after thorough previous washing of the affected areas with water and non-irritating soap.
Composition
The active substance is benzoyl peroxide.
Excipients are carbomer 940, lauromacrogol 200, sodium hydroxide, edetic acid and purified water.
Contraindication
Do not use Akneroxide 5 if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
