Description

 APO-PANTO contains the active substance pantoprazole. It stops the pump that produces stomach acid. In this way, the amount of acid in the stomach is reduced.

APO-PANTO is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (eg heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults.

Reflux is the return flow of acid from the stomach to the esophagus (digestive tract), which can become inflamed and hurt.

Symptoms may develop such as a painful burning sensation in the chest shooting up to the neck (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

You may experience relief from the symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn after the first day of treatment with APO-PANTO, but this medicine is not intended to provide immediate relief . It may be necessary to take the tablets for 2 to 3 days to relieve the symptoms.

Dosage and method of use

 Take one tablet daily. Do not exceed this recommended dose of 20 mg pantoprazole daily. You should take this medicine continuously for 2 to 3 days.
