Aqvitox-D is a superoxidized solution used to treat and moisturize chronic wounds, burns, abrasions, ulcerations and complicated skin inflammations. The main active ingredient is hypochlorous acid HClO. It is a weak acid and a substance very intimate with immunity, which relies on its highly oxidative properties in the fight against pathogens. Due to the neutral pH, the solution is non-irritating, non-cytotoxic and safe with long exposure. The solution is isotonic, so it resembles a saline. It can be used together with other means intended for the treatment of wounds.

What are the indications?
Aqvitox-D is indicated for chronic ulceration, vaginitis, diabetic ulcer, leg ulcer, decubitus ulcer or 1st and 2nd degree burns. Furthermore, also in oncological skin inflammations, acute wounds, infectious, necrotic and postoperative wounds. There are no known contraindications that exclude its use, except for individual hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients present.

Dosage and method of use

Affected areas on any part of the body should be rinsed with Aqvitox-D solution or with with Aqvitox-D gel. Wound treatment is carried out by repeated rinsing or compresses of moistened gauze or tampon. This method of application must be followed to ensure the desired properties of Aqvitox. Also, neither the solution nor the gel should be diluted at all, both because of unwanted dissolved anions and cations and because of the active ingredients that are effective in maintaining the original concentration.

Water (99.8%), hypochlorous acid (< 0.03%), sodium hypochlorite (<0.03%), chlorine dioxide (0.001%), sodium chloride (0.1%).
