Bromhexine-EGIS is an expectorant that is recommended for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with the production of thick mucus. The product facilitates the removal of secretions in the bronchi and trachea. The dissolution of mucus secretion is also facilitated by inflammation of the nose and pharyngeal capsule.
The product is not suitable for relieving dry cough.

Dosage and method of use
The recommended dose for adults is 4 ml of solution 3 times a day.
Use in children and adolescents
Up to 2 years of age: 1 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
2 to 6 years: 1 to 2 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
6 to 14 years: 4 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
Up to 2 years of age: 1 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
2 to 6 years: 1 to 2 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
6 to 14 years: 4 ml of oral solution 3 times a day
It is recommended to take this medicine after a meal with plenty of fluids. Rich fluid intake during treatment promotes expectoration.
Ingredients
The product contains the active substance bromhexine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are sodium citrate dihydrate, methyl paraben, citric acid monohydrate, glycerol and purified water.
The active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride 120 mg in 60 ml solution (2 mg in 1 ml solution). The other ingredients are sodium citrate dihydrate, methyl paraben (1 mg / ml), citric acid monohydrate, glycerol, purified water.
