Carbotox belongs to a group of medicines containing charcoal, which absorbs gases and toxic substances from the digestive tract. Without consultation with a doctor, adults, including pregnant and lactating women and adolescents, can use the product for a short time (up to 2 days) for acute diarrhea caused by a dietary error and for irritable bowel syndrome. It is also used for diagnostic examination of the gallbladder and bile ducts. It neutralizes some poisons.
Dosage and method of use
Do not use for more than 2 days without a doctor's recommendation. The recommended dose is 2 - 4 tablets 3 - 4 times a day.
Ingredients
The product contains the active substances carbo activatus and sodium thiosulfase. The other ingredients are sucrose, microcrystalline cellulose, glycerol 85%, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate and sodium starch glycolate.
Contraindication
Do not take Carbotox if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of this medicine. The product is not intended for children under 3 years.
