Clotrimazole Recordati contains the medicinal substance clotrimazole 10 mg (1%) in 1 g of cream.
The preparation is intended for the treatment of skin diseases caused by yeasts, fungi and some bacteria.
These are:
- fungal disease (dermatomycosis), occurring most often in places of easy burning (in skin folds): between the toes (tinea pedum), in the groin area (tinea inguinalis), on the trunk (tinea corporis), on the hands (tinea manuum) . They are manifested by redness, itching, sometimes peeling of the skin, or even painful cracks in the skin.
- pityriasis versicolor - usually appears on the chest or back as peeling, non-itchy patches.
- erythrasma - appears as brownish-red, slightly scaly, sharply demarcated, non-itchy spots or areas in the areas of the scrotum or between the fingers.
- inflammation of the external genitalia in women (vulvitis) - manifested by itching, redness, burning, swelling or soreness of the external genitalia.
- inflammation of the glans penis in men (balanitis) - manifested by redness and itching of the glans and foreskin, or foul-smelling discharge from the foreskin.

Dosage and method of use

The cream is applied in a thin layer 2-3 times a day to the affected areas. After the symptoms subside, the treatment is continued for at least 2 more weeks.

Composition

The cream contains Clotrimazolum 10 mg (1%) in 1 g of cream.
Excipients are propylparaben, methylparaben, cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, light liquid paraffin, purified water, stearomacrogol 1050, stearomacrogol 100.

 Contraindication

Read the package leaflet carefully.
If you are breastfeeding, do not apply to the nipple area before breastfeeding.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
