Cutimed Sorbion Sachet With cover sterile 10 x 10 cm 10 pcs is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, super absorbent wound cover. The cover consists of a superabsorbent core that strongly retains water and an outer layer of hypoallergenic polypropylene. Both sides of the cover can be applied to the wound. The product does not contain any pharmacologically active substances and is free of binders and glues.
Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is intended for the treatment of secreting wounds with a moderate to excessive level of exudate (wound effusion), such as decubitus ulcers, ulcus cruris, diabetic ulcers and other secondary healing wounds, oozing laparotomy wounds, fistulas, exulsing carcinomas, postoperative wound dehiscence and similar exuding wounds. It is suitable for the treatment of large wounds, such as wounds on the upper and lower legs, on the chest or abdomen, or on the forearm.

Dosage and method of use
- Disinfect your hands and wear gloves before applying the cover.
- If necessary, flush the wound and then remove any remaining cleaning solution.
- Select an appropriate size cover so that the inner absorbent core overlaps the wound edges by at least 1 cm/0.4 inch.
- Do not touch the wound pad when removing the product from the package.
- Apply a dressing to the wound. Both sides of the cover can be applied to the wound.
- Choose a suitable fixation according to the condition of the wound and skin, and then secure the cover. Films, medical tape, bandages, or any other suitable immobilization covering may be used. When fixing the cover, take into account its expansion during absorption.
When you want to remove the cover of the Cutimed Sorbion Sachet, remove the fixing tapes, lift one corner of the Cutimed Sorbion Sachet, carefully remove the cover and discard. Adhesion of wound debris to the Cutimed Sorbion Sachet cover is a desirable effect that contributes to wound cleansing.
