Feelings of heavy legs, associated with swelling and pain, can be a sign of vascular disease. Devenal 500 mg is a vasoprotectant, or a medicine that protects blood vessels . It contains flavonoids in micronized form, which increase venous wall tension and resistance of blood capillaries . It is used in adults to treat the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs . This disease is manifested by a feeling of heaviness in the legs, swelling of the legs, pain and nocturnal leg cramps. Devenal 500 mg also treats the symptoms of a sudden attack of a hemorrhoidal disease , such as pain, bleeding and swelling in the rectum.
Dosage
Chronic venous insufficiency: Adults take 2 tablets daily , optimally one tablet at noon and one tablet in the evening, with food. If you do not feel better within 6 weeks of treatment of chronic venous insufficiency with Devenal or if you become overweight, you must consult a doctor. The product can be used for a maximum of 3 months without consulting a doctor.
Acute attacks of hemorrhoidal disease: Adults take 3 tablets twice a day (6 tablets a day) for the first 4 days of treatment. Over the next 3 days , 2 tablets twice a day (4 tablets a day). Maintenance treatment 1 tablet twice a day . The tablets are taken with food. In this indication, use Devenal only for a limited period of 15 days. If the symptoms of hemorrhoids do not disappear by this time, a doctor should be consulted. If the symptoms of the disease do not improve or even worsen within 7 days of treatment for an acute attack of hemorrhoidal disease with Devenal, you must consult a doctor.
Ingredients
Active substances: flavonoida micronisata, containing diosmin and other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg flavonoid micronisata containing 450 mg diosmin and 50 mg other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin. Excipients: Tablet core: magnesium stearate, talc, maize starch, gelatin, microcrystalline cellulose 102. Coating: red iron oxide (E 172), yellow iron oxide (E 172), macrogol 3350, partially hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide ( E 171), talc.
Notice
Devenal is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Do not take Devenal if you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
