EasyTouch® strips are made for in vitro use and can only be used with the EasyTouch® device. The EasyTouch® system is intended for home use or healthcare personnel to measure uric acid levels (uric acid test strips) from a fresh capillary (whole) blood sample taken from a fingertip.
The EasyTouch® Uric Acid Monitoring System quantitatively measures uric acid levels from fresh capillary whole blood. This measurement is based on determining the current changes caused by the reaction of uric acid with a reagent on the strip electrode. When the blood sample touches the target area on the strip, it is automatically drawn into the reagent zone on the strip. The measurement result will appear on the device in 20 seconds .

Dosage and method of use
To measure, you need: EasyTouch® device, coding chip, test strip, autolancet (pen).
- Before first use, calibrate the device with the included coding chip.
- Wash and dry your hands and prepare the autolancet . Disinfect your finger with an alcohol swab.
- Insert the test strip into the device with the contact chips facing down and towards you . The device turns on automatically. A code will appear on the display. Check that the code matches (the number on the display and the box must be the same).
- After a flashing drop appears on the display, the device is ready to measure. Use an autolancet (pen) to inject your finger . Squeeze out the required drop of blood (e.g. wipe the first drop with a tissue and squeeze out the second drop of blood). Then place your finger from the side (from the side) of the strip to the reaction site (marked by an arrow). The strip draws a blood sample by itself. The window turns red . It is very important that the ENTIRE reaction site is filled with blood, otherwise the results will not be accurate . Keep your finger on the strip until the device beeps.
- The device beeps, measures. After 20 seconds, the result is displayed on the display, which is automatically saved in the device's memory .
- Pull the strip out of the device (it turns off automatically). Dispose of the strip according to applicable regulations.
Uric acid test results are shown on the display in either mg/dL (numbers with a decimal point) or µmol/L (whole numbers).
Composition
Each EasyTouch® Uric Acid Test Strip contains the following reagent:
Uricase ≥ 0.1 mg
Non-reactive ingredients ≥ 0.05 mg
Notice
Never adjust your medication according to the measured results, always consult your doctor first. Never bend, cut or squeeze the strips. Test strips are intended for single use. After use, dispose of them according to applicable local regulations. Do not use the strips for more than 2 months after opening the box. Do not use sodium fluoride or iodine to disinfect the skin before injection.
