DP GlukoPhan is a medical device, in vitro diagnostics, urine strips for urine analysis. Identification of the initial symptoms of metabolic diseases (diabetes mellitus). Determination of glucose content in urine. GlukoPhan diagnostic strips are based on a chemical reaction in which the glucose present in the urine reacts with the enzymes glucose oxidase and peroxidase. The test is specific for glucose, other sugars (eg fructose) do not give a positive reaction. High concentrations of, for example, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) reduce the rate of color development and can lead to falsely lower or negative results. Therefore, it is recommended to discontinue vitamin C 10 hours before the measurement.
Dosage and method of use
The urinary glucose content is then determined by subtraction from the color scale on the test strip package.
