Guttalax 5 mg 40 tablets

Guttalax is a locally acting laxative that stimulates the peristalsis of the colon and softens the stool. Guttalax is indicated for the treatment of acute functional constipation and occasional use to facilitate emptying in chronic constipation. Guttalax is suitable for short-term use in adults and children over 4 years of age. Children should take the medicine on the advice of a doctor.

Dosage

Adults, adolescents and children over 10 years take 1-2 tablets once a day. The maximum dose is 2 tablets a day. Children 4-10 years take ½-1 tablet once a day. The maximum dose is 1 tablet per day. The product is taken in the evening before bed, the effect usually occurs the following morning. It is recommended to start with the lowest dose. The product can be administered regularly for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Ingredients

The active substance is picosulfate monohydrate sodium 5 mg per 1 tablet.

The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, dried corn starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, hydrolyzed potato starch, magnesium stearate, soluble starch.
