Imodium Plus 2 - 12 tablets

Imodium Plus provides relief from short-term acute diarrhea accompanied by bloating, flatulence and stomach cramps. The preparation contains a combination of two active substances. Loperamide slows down excessive bowel activity and helps absorb more water and salt from the intestines. Simethicone breaks down gas bubbles in the gut, which cause cramping and bloating. Imodium Plus can be used by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

The most common causes of acute diarrhea problems:

• viral and bacterial infections
• traveler's diarrhea caused by contaminated food or water
• food allergies
• menstruation in women
• anxiety and stress
• irritable bowel syndrome
• bad eating habits and dietary mistakes

Adults take 2 tablets at the beginning, then 1 tablet after each loose stool. Adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 tablet at the beginning, then 1 tablet after each loose stool. Do not take more than 4 tablets per day. If symptoms do not improve within two days. Consult your doctor about further use.

The medicinal substances are loperamide hydrochloride (2 mg in one tablet) and simethicone (equivalent to dimethicone 125 mg in one tablet).

Other auxiliary substances are calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, vanilla flavor (contains propylene glycol, maltodextrin, ethanol and benzyl alcohol), sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A) and stearic acid.

Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Imodium Plus contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause allergic reactions. The preparation contains maltodextrin (contains glucose), which must be taken into account in case of intolerance to certain sugars.
