Imutest to detect allergy, based on IgE antibodies, is intended for all persons who suspect an undesirable allergic reaction to cats. Imutest is used as an aid in the diagnosis of increased sensitivity to this allergen. Only a small blood sample is needed to perform the test, the acquisition of which is hygienic and minimally unpleasant.
In allergy, the immune system reacts to contact with alegen by producing IgE antibodies. Imutest to determine allergy to feline allergens detects elevated levels of protein-specific IgE antibodies from the cat's sweat, saliva and sebum from a blood sample. Cat allergens are among the smallest and most problematic. A higher content of allergens is produced by males due to the greater production of sebum. Cat allergens are spread by microscopic droplets that can float in the air for six hours or more.
Test Kit Contents
- Pack size of 1 sterile finger needle, 1 blood tube and 1 vial of detection solution
- The plastic film packaging contains a test unit and a desiccant bag
- Instructions for use in the Czech language
Dosage and method of use
- Turn over and remove the blue lancet protective cap. Place the white end to your fingertip and press gently until it clicks.
- Massage your finger towards the tip to create a large drop of blood. Place the collection tube and let it automatically fill to the mark.
- Place the tip of the hole tube in the smaller well of the test cartridge marked with the blood drop symbol. The sample is automatically absorbed into the backing.
- Remove the screw cap of the vial and pour the detection solution into a larger, unmarked well on the test cassette. Wait 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, pull the blue stop completely to activate the test device.
- Wait another 15 minutes t, then your results will be ready.

Notification
For children under 16 years of age, the test should be performed by a parent. At the time of testing, you may not have an allergic reaction. It is not necessary to discontinue any medications before using this product
