Imutest to detect allergy, based on IgE antibodies, is designed for all persons who suspect an adverse allergic reaction to some allergens contained in eggs. Imutest is used as an aid in the diagnosis of increased sensitivity to these allergens. Only a small blood sample is needed to perform the test, the acquisition of which is hygienic and minimally unpleasant.

The cause of egg allergy can be both egg white and yolk proteins. Sufficient exposure to higher temperatures partially dulls the egg allergens. The most common symptom of egg allergy is urticaria and/or swelling of the kidneys and lips, sometimes activating existing eczema foci. A relatively common symptom is vomiting immediately after ingestion of the egg. In a more severe reaction, in addition to skin symptoms, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiavascular up to fully expressed anaphylaxis may appear.

  • The plastic film packaging contains a test unit and a desiccant bag

Dosage and method of use

  1. Turn over and remove the blue lancet protective cap. Place the white end to your fingertip and press gently until it clicks.
  2. Massage your finger towards the tip to create a large drop of blood. Place the collection tube and let it automatically fill to the mark.
  3. Place the tip of the hole tube in the smaller well of the test cartridge marked with the blood drop symbol. The sample is automatically absorbed into the backing.
  4. Remove the screw cap of the vial and pour the detection solution into a larger, unmarked well on the test cassette. Wait 15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes, pull the blue stop completely to activate the test device.
  6. Wait another 15 minutes, then your results will be ready.
