Lagosa belongs to a group of medicines called hepatoprotectives, or medicines with a protective effect on liver cells, which are used to treat liver disease. Lagosa is a herbal medicinal product containing a dry extract of milk thistle fruit. This extract contains the substance silymarin, which demonstrates beneficial therapeutic effects in various liver cell damages.

Silymarin strengthens the structure of the cell membrane of liver cells, so that a toxic substance can not penetrate into the cell, and increases the ability of the liver to regenerate.

The product is used for supportive and complementary treatment of toxic-metabolic liver damage such as: hepatic steatosis (accumulation of fat in the liver), liver damage caused by alcohol, poisonous substances, drugs, mushroom poisoning, etc. It is also used as supportive treatment in chronic inflammatory liver diseases and cirrhosis of the liver (severe liver disease characterized by proliferation of connective tissue and nodulous remodeling of liver tissue).

Lagosa contains lactose monohydrate and sucrose. Does not contain gluten.

The package contains 50 coated tablets.
Lagosa are white, round, biconvex coated tablets with a smooth, matte surface.
