Japanese Prince Asaka Yasuhiko commissioned French artist René Lalique to create four large glass doors for his palace in Tokyo. Lalique handled this with grace, creating charming design gems with silhouettes of female figures with outstretched wings.

In the 80s, the palace became a metropolitan museum, where we can admire Lalique's masterpieces to this day. It was these glass doors that inspired the Lalique L'Amour bottle, which was created in honor of Lalique's love for all women and flowers.
