interactions

Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using other medicines or have recently taken/used them, even if they are other medicines that do not require a prescription.

If you take water tablets (diuretics) or medicines made from adrenal cortex hormones (adrenocorticosteroids) together with Laxbene ratiopharm, your body may lose more potassium. Such a potassium deficiency that may occur can increase the effects and side effects of so-called “cardiac glycosides” (medicines used to treat cardiac insufficiency) if they are taken at the same time.

The enteric-coated tablets have a special film coating. Therefore, do not take Laxbene ratiopharm at the same time as medicines that reduce the acidity of the stomach (antacids such as sodium bicarbonate or medicines from the group of proton pump inhibitors). If such medicines are required, you should take them at least half an hour after Laxbene
ratiopharm.

Taking Laxbene ratiopharm with food and drink
Do not take Laxbene ratiopharm with milk as it decreases the acidity of the stomach. Leave at least half an hour between doses.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for
advice before taking/using any medicine.

Pregnancy
Like many other medicines, you should only take Laxbene ratiopharm during pregnancy if your doctor recommends it.

Breast- feeding

No studies on the effects on fertility have been made.
