Laxygal oral drops 10 ml

Laxygal is a locally acting laxative. It stimulates peristalsis or wavy movement of the walls of the large intestine and softens the stool. Laxygal is used in patients who have constipation and in conditions where it is necessary to support emptying. Laxygal oral drops can be used by adults, adolescents and children over the age of 4 years. Children should only be given the doctor's recommendation.

Dosage

Adults, adolescents and children over 10 years take 12-24 drops in the evening. Children 4-10 years of age are given 6-12 drops in the evening. It is best to take the medicine in the evening before bedtime to empty it in the morning. It starts to work normally after 6-12 hours. It is used for short periods. Without a doctor's recommendation for no more than 10 days.

Ingredients

The active substance is sodium picosulfate monohydrate 7.5 mg per ml (= 18 drops).

The other excipients are ethylparaben sodium (E 215), non-crystallising sorbitol 70% (E 420), 35% hydrochloric acid and purified water.
