OSTENIL® TENDON is highly concentrated hyaluronic acid (2%).
In the human body, hyaluronic acid occurs as a natural molecule wherever tissue moves against one another or moisture needs to be collected - for example in tear fluid, mucous membranes, synovial fluid or the skin.
The hyaluronic acid in OSTENIL® TENDON is produced in a biotechnological process so that no animal material is used. Its molecular structure corresponds exactly to human hyaluronic acid. That is why OSTENIL® TENDON is extremely well tolerated.

Application:
The treatment itself is quick. Usually your doctor will give you 2 injections at a weekly interval. In the case of tendons with a tendon sheath, he injects OSTENIL® TENDON into the tendon sheath, otherwise OSTENIL® TENDON is injected onto the tendon. In both cases, the hyaluronic acid is distributed along the entire tendon through natural movement.
