Faster wound healing with the power of nature. The main ingredient in Abilar is purified, natural resin from Norwegian spruce. Therefore, Abilar also has an unmistakable smell of forest and freshly cut wood, as well as a golden-brown color.

Abilar is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and, thanks to the resin, has antimicrobial properties. The wound ointment supports both the granulation of an open wound and its re-epithelialization from the edges of the wound. 

Resinous ointments have been used for centuries in Finland and Sweden to treat various skin conditions, especially wounds.

application

The affected skin area should be clean. The ointment is applied to the cleaned wound once a day.
Each pack of Abilar contains a detailed leaflet. Please read them carefully before using Abilar. If anything is unclear, please contact your doctor or pharmacist in confidence.

The ointment can be used under a classic wound dressing. Abilar should be reapplied at each dressing change.

special instructions

There are no known contraindications, apart from allergic skin reactions in people who are hypersensitive to resin. The ointment must not be applied to mucous membranes, eyes or mouth or swallowed.
