With fake coffee you can go right any time of the day or night, because the beanless, caffeine-free hot drink is guaranteed not to upset you. The version with 100% roasted dandelion roots tastes pleasantly malty and sweet. Your grandma may still know the coffee alternative as Muckefuck. According to rumors, the word comes from the post-war period, when French people liked to drink “mocha faux”, i.e. “fake coffee”.

We recommend: 1 – max. 2 teaspoons per serving (200 ml); suitable for mocha, French press, pour over and coffee filter machines

Traditional preparation: Pour the desired amount into a tea filter and bring to the boil in a pot. Simmer and let steep for 5-10 minutes.

TIP: Tastes good with (vegetable) milk
