Strepfen lozenges relieve sore throat , especially when swallowing, and soothe inflammatory swelling of the throat that accompanies diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx of bacterial or viral origin. They are also used as a supportive treatment for the treatment of angina (tonsillitis) and pharyngitis (pharyngitis). Quickly dissolve in the mouth (within 5 to 10 minutes) and have a calming effect after 2 minutes of use. The onset of action, ie pain relief and reduction of throat swelling, should occur within 22 minutes of taking the lozenge and should persist for 4 to 6 hours.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age use 1 lozenge (let it dissolve slowly in the mouth) up to 5 times a day every 3 to 6 hours. Suck the lozenges best after a meal. If you feel unwell within 3 days or if you feel uncomfortable, you should consult your doctor.
Ingredients
The active substance is flurbiprofen (8.75 mg per lozenge).
The other ingredients are macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide, lemon flavor, levomenthol, liquid glucose, syrup-free (contains sucrose), purified honey.
Notice
Do not take alcoholic beverages during treatment with Strepfen lozenges. Concomitant use of blood thinners, high blood pressure or pain (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) may affect their effects.
