Strepsils Honey and lemon are honey and lemon-flavored lozenges used to treat the symptoms of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx and to relieve sore throat. They are intended for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years . Lozenges are not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Dosage
Adults let loose 1 lozenge in their mouth every 2-3 hours. Use a maximum of 12 lozenges per 24 hours.
Adolescents and children from 6 years of age let loose 1 lozenge in their mouth every 2-3 hours. Use a maximum of 6 lozenges per 24 hours.
Ingredients
The active substances are amylmetacresol (0.6 mg) and alcohol dichlorobenzylicus (1.2 mg) in one lozenge.
The other ingredients are tartaric acid, honey, peppermint essential oil, deterpenated lemon essential oil, quinoline yellow, clear syrup 67%, liquid glucose.
Notice
Strepsils Honey and Lemon contain glucose and sucrose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product. The product contains approximately 1 g glucose and 1.5 g sucrose per dose, which should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
