Theraflu Forte contains 3 active substances: paracetamol, phenylephrine and guaifenesin. It relieves short-term symptoms of colds and flu , such as mild to moderate pain, fever, stuffy nose and a moist, productive cough. Theraflu Forte is used to relieve the symptoms of acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, chills and flu when combined with pain or fever and congestion of the nasal mucosa. The product also facilitates expectoration during productive cough . Theraflu Forte capsules can be taken by adults and adolescents from 16 years of age with a body weight of 50 kg or more.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 16 years of age (weighing 50 kg or more): 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed. The total daily dose should not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours (2 capsules 3 times a day). The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days.
Ingredients
The active substances are paracetamol 500 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1 mg (equivalent to 5 mg phenylephedrine), guaifenesin 100 mg per capsule. Other ingredients: croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, sodium laurilsulfate, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin, indigo carmine (E 132), titanium dioxide (E 171), quinoline yellow (E 104), sodium laurilsulfate, erythrosine (E 127), purified water.
