Theraflu Forte contains 3 active substances: paracetamol, phenylephrine and guaifenesin. It relieves short-term symptoms of colds and flu , such as mild to moderate pain, fever, stuffy nose and a moist, productive cough. Theraflu Forte is used to relieve the symptoms of acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, chills and flu when combined with pain or fever and congestion of the nasal mucosa. The product also facilitates expectoration during productive cough . Theraflu Forte hot drink can be used by adults and adolescents from 16 years of age with a body weight of 50 kg or more.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 16 years of age (weighing 50 kg or more): 1 sachet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. The total daily dose should not exceed 3 sachets in 24 hours (1 sachet 3 times daily). Dissolve the bag in a cup of hot but not boiling water (250 ml) and drink it still warm. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days.
Ingredients
The active substances are paracetamol 1000 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to phenylephedrine 10 mg) and guaifenesin 200 mg in one sachet. Other ingredients: sucrose, sodium citrate dihydrate, anhydrous citric acid, tartaric acid, lemon flavor 87A069, lemon flavor 875060 (contains butylhydroxyanisole), menthol flavor powder 876026, acesulfame potassium salt (E 950), lemon flavor 501.476 / AP05.04 , aspartame (E 951), lemon flavor 875928, quinoline yellow (E 104).
Notice
Do not drink alcohol or take other products containing paracetamol while taking this medicine. Theraflu Forte contains aspartame (E 951), which may be harmful for patients with phenylketonuria.
