Cable with polyabsorbent (polyacrylate) fibers and sterile probe, for use in the cleaning phase of exudative cavities and sinus wounds, chronic (ulcers of the lower extremities, bedsores, diabetic ulcers on the legs), acute wounds (traumatic), postoperative wounds and oncological wounds.

Dosage and method of use
Wound preparation:
- Clean the wound according to the local protocol and rinse it with saline.
- If you previously used an antiseptic (except for contraindicated antiseptics), carefully rinse the wound with saline before applying URGOClean Rope tamponade.
- The use of tamponade URGOClean Rope does not represent a contraindication to mechanical debridement in situations where such a procedure is appropriate.
Application of coverage:
- Open the blister.
- Using a probe, assess the depth of the wound if necessary.
- Insert the URGOClean Rope tamponade into the wound with minimal pressure.
- The length of the URGOClean Rope tamponade can be adjusted if necessary using disinfected scissors (by cutting perpendicular to the tamponade) to match the depth bangs. For wounds with low exudation, tamponade URGOClean Rope can be easily used before application moisten with saline.
- Make sure that the URGOClean Rope tamponade is visible and that it can be made out of the wound cavity simply pull out.
- On the wound with tamponade URGOClean Rope apply a secondary dressing suitable for localization of the wound and the degree of exudation.
Dressing replacements:
- URGOClean Rope tamponade should be changed every 1 to 2 days during the wound cleaning phase, then as needed depending on the volume of exudate and the clinical condition of the wound. Dispose of the probe and unused parts of the URGOClean Rope tamponade in accordance with local procedures.
To remove opacity:
- Be sure to pull out the whole URGOClean Rope tamponade from the wound.
Notification
Do not use URGOClean Rope tamponade in fistulas with a diameter smaller than probe diameter.
Do not use URGOClean Rope on wounds with dry soil.
Since URGOClean Rope tamponade is not absorbable, do not use it as surgical compression.
Do not use URGOClean Rope tamponade in the endonasal area during surgical interventions on the nose and paranasal sinuses.
Do not combine tamponade URGOClean Rope with hydrogen peroxide, antiseptics based on organic mercury compounds or hexamidine.
Do not use if the patient is shown to be hypersensitive to tamponade URGOClean Rope.
Do not use URGOClean Rope tamponade as a surgical absorbent material for heavy duty bleeding wounds.
Do not use URGOClean Rope on wounds with dry soil.
Since URGOClean Rope tamponade is not absorbable, do not use it as surgical compression.
Do not use URGOClean Rope tamponade in the endonasal area during surgical interventions on the nose and paranasal sinuses.
